Briefing

The largest of the aggressive hive creatures encountered, this stage of development seen by the organics sets an entirely new level of advancement. Unlike its lesser counterparts, it seems to have command & control of other Hive creatures around it, creating a 'Hive Mind' hierarchy in the region it appears in. There has been only a few encounters with this monstrous creature by Sol and Genari; that is where ships have survived to relay the details of this capital-ship sized organism. Not one has ever been disabled or destroyed however. They move astoundingly quick for their size, and their offensive arsenal matches that of any modern cruiser. If this is the next step in their evolution, the fear is what these Hive Entities can become as they develop even further. Terminology on these creatures becomes rather difficult when they undergo so many stages within their life cycles, and the Hive Entity is no different. From its lesser stage to this bigger, 'greater'-sized variant, it gets stronger with every battle it becomes entangled in. It almost seems that there is no limit to how large and dangerous these creatures will become; and their conflict with Genari forces only reinforces their belligerent evolution. This Entity is similar on the surface, but much more hardened, more vigorous, and with a duplicated plasma launcher.
