Briefing

Even when the Sol Imperium forced the four major Genari factions to unite as one singular Empire, there were smaller factions that were squeezed out of the United Empire, losing territory in the process. These disenfranchised groups split up and became independent units surviving off more remote or inhospitable regions. With several dozens of frigates under their control, they embraced the privateering lifestyle with warships like the Battalion Frigate. These ships are seen assaulting smaller Sol and Genari warships, usually when alone and vulnerable. Most Battalion pirate captains & crew were longtime veterans of the Genari Navy, and are hard to defeat. The smaller frontal laser was stripped and extra armor added. Boarding Pods: 2
