The Genari believe every border defense station should be built to resist invasion forces of any size; and this, the smallest variant has some very powerful defenses. Supporting four long range fission warheads and eight heavy laser cannons, it can fend off most invasion fleets singlehandedly. Only one has ever been lost through a strike by the Sol Imperium, which led to deeper incursions to Genari territory and the loss of Vega early in the war. More recently they have been upgraded with heavy armor and improved sensors, but their weakness remains the maximum range of what Genari technology (lasers) can reach.
