Most commonly seen Ma'Alaketh ship by both Genari and Sol forces, it is the first line of defense for the xenophobic confederation. Called the Perimeter, the entire border facing the two warring races is defended by these automated ships. It is the smallest ship to support both a particle beam and dampening field, they form a wall of long ranged weaponry that bar any intruders from coming through. Usually stationary, and very hard to detect and hit. Sol intelligence has determined that most of these Sentinels are unmanned, or partially automated when stationed at the borders. None have been successfully captured by Genari assaults, as they self-destruct upon boarding.
