Briefing

The Ti'Malaara (Celestial) light cruiser was the only ship of its class for nearly half a century, bridging the gap between the TiAllaaron destroyer and the Ti'Menaala cruiser. It has been a very popular warship that can act as a Capital Ship, but not as expensive to build or maintain as a cruiser. As long as the status quo was maintained at the perimeter, the Ma'Alaketh fleet was sufficient in protecting the borders, but Genari attacks were increasing in number, and the Sol Imperials were advancing in technology at a rapid pace. There was a growing need for a new Light Cruiser that could act both as a heavy defense platform as well as out-maneuver any Sol and Genari ship of the same class. The Tetrarch forgoes the long range particle cannons and focuses on fully utilizing all five of its weapon hardpoints with heavy-hitting plasma beams, and upgrades its force field. A very powerful warship for close combat.
