There were many defected and decommissioned early generation Swordfish destroyers finding themselves on the black market, either stripped of weapons or left in disrepair. A few captains with the wealth and connections to New Terra shipyards decided to make flagships of their own. One notable variant was developed by Captain Lia Turner, who saw how mass-efficient some Genari weapon systems were. Like many Sol captains, she was intrigued by the Genari fission warheads. With the long broadsides of the Swordfish, she was able to double the hardpoints with these weapons, and place eight FW-2 warhead launchers in series with an additional FW-4 directly forward. The range and accuracy of these weapons are abysmal however, but the firepower is quite impressive. Capt. Turners' fascination with Koi fish also shows on the unique paint job on its hull. As she's been heard saying, when a missile is launched from her ship in combat, she's sending out one of her 'fishes'.
