As the ever-present frigate in the Genari-Sol war, their popularity stems from the general versatility of the warship for various types of Genari style tactics either alone or in groups. Its damage output is improved from other frigates because of the dual fission warheads, but loses out to Sol warships that have the longer range beam weapons. When it was first commissioned on SY 2158, it held the pinnacle of advanced fission warheads. These FW-4C's had significant improvements in range and accuracy compared to the previous iterations of warhead technology. Add to it, boasting a powerful primary heavy laser beam that gave it an edge in ranged combat, delivering a significant amount of damage. If that wasn't enough, the ship was designed around a larger sensor housing, amplifying it scanning system by 1000km.
