Briefing
After a monolith matures sufficiently, it enters a chrysalis form (though it is uncertain what the trigger for this maturation process is). Once it exits the megachrysalis, it becomes an entirely new kind of organism, one with a lot more differentiation and specialized appendages. Not necessarily that much larger than a monolith, it improves on every aspect of that predecessor. Its energy and plasma offensive weapons do more damage, and its regeneration rate is greatly improved. Though on the surface it seems more fragile with its extruded appendages, it is actually a lot more hardened than the liths and able to withstand a considerable amount of incoming fire. Upon encountering this creature, it does engage a sense of awe as well as fear, it is far more obvious that it is alive as well as more deadly. Regeneration Rate 19
