Briefing
The Liverpool type IV frigate was proven to be quite successful in light skirmishes, being able to maneuver in and out of hot zones rather quickly -- without taking enemy fire. It was also used as a scout-like frigate, but the Imperium needed something even faster, but more durable than the Orchis scout corvette. Using the Orchis platform itself, expanded by 30% in overall dimension, this new frigate could achieve similar scouting missions with an even stronger sensor system. Its armament consists of two prototype plasma beams, and a weak tier3 shield system. Still considered fragile by frigate standards, it is meant to either avoid conflict, or engage only in hit & run sorties. In test runs it proved to be very weak in combat, and was given an additional forward laser to sustain a slightly improved combat stance.
