Briefing

The original Montana is embedded with a lot of history; It was commissioned by Fleet Admiral Bradley to be the largest, and most powerful warship back in SY 2158. Plagued by cost overruns and production delays, only one was built by 2158, and with its delayed launch it never saw direct conflict with the Sonna. It became a source of naval pride and strength after the destruction of the Sonna homeworld and the de-facto capital ship and command center for the Admiral. When Bradley declared war on the Imperium's new enemies (Genari Empire) the original Montana kept its presence in Vega, where it has stayed ever since. For two decades, the Montana and its variants have been the flagships of Sol Command, with one usually in orbit around major homeworlds as inspiration to young officers as well as a show of strength for the Sol Navy. For the longest time this flagship-class cruiser was labelled 'indestructible', and its reflective armor protected crew from casualties, as well as keeping Admirals safe.
