Briefing
The disbandment of the Talagh faction was absorbed into the Zeranghi Matriarchy after the Unification; but many of the Talagh were disenfranchised by the dethroning of their once proud Matriarch in Ghazah. While many continued to serve the United Empire, many others left to the Helix where they started their own clans. Many Genari commanders captaining corvettes, frigates and destroyers defected, but it was very rare to have a Star Commander join them. In the case of Commander Hachiun, second and only to Nova Commander Moshtagh, his discontent led him to the Free Peoples, with his fleet and a pair of Victory-class light cruisers. For the longest time these cruisers stayed within the Helix at a Genari-built base, unused and kept away from the borders. It was a decade later, when the two Victory-class ships were deconstructed, and rebuilt into a much larger four-winged, quad-engine heavy cruiser. It only became apparent after the fact that Commander Hachiun had built his own custom flagship, though the purpose of which is unknown. It does rival a Starfire Heavy cruiser in many aspects, with eight heavy fission launchers, heavy armor and significant agility for its size. Is he going back to Ghazah to seek vengeance? Or just an aging Genari captain who wants to leave behind a legacy of his own?
